NEWS BRIEF

What happened

Cloudflare says its services for private origins are generally available to customers with the required Cloudflare One connectivity. Supported configurations let application services such as WAF, rate limiting, caching, and Workers sit in front of privately addressed origins. The announcement also lists limitations, including unsupported Argo Smart Routing and Dedicated CDN Egress IPs.

What the announcement does not establish

Private routing changes reachability; it does not by itself define application authorization. Teams should check the connectivity prerequisites and current product documentation for their deployment.
